Alright, I have to admit that I am a believer in Chiropractors. Maybe its all in my head, I don’t know but I can tell you this, for the past two years I have felt better than I have in a long time and free of those miserable headaches! I was so tired of taking Motrin, Tylenol, whatever, to get rid of these terrible headaches, then a friend of mine mentioned a chiropractor. I was scared thinking of those cracking sounds, but I was desperate so I gave it a try. I went numerous times at first and now I go about every 4-6 weeks, and I have to say I’m a believer. No more headaches, no colds, (knock on wood), and no more Motrin. So I can say now I am a believer, maybe its like that sugar pill effect, (if you’ve ever seen that episode of MASH), but hey it works for me so I’m gonna keep going! Don’t you think?

I totally agree. I love my Chiropractor, he sits at the right hand of God for me. The trick is to find a really good Chiropractor, once you do, they can do miracles.

My neighbor is an orthopedic surgeon, and he once told me that chiropractors can manipulate your bones to bring them back into proper alignment, and thus help your body to heal itself and relieve pain, for example if you have sustained an injury in a car accident or you have a chronic illness. He says that once you are feeling well enough, you could train your muscles themselves to hold your bones in proper alignment (especially your core muscles) through physical therapy, tai chi, or yoga. I’ve read that this type of exercise is especially helpful as we grow older.
I have never been to a chiropractor, so I cannot say if it is helpful. I do practice yoga regularly and feel that it has a positive affect on my health. I also have friends with back, shoulder, and hip problems who have told me that doing yoga just once a week makes a big difference in how they feel.

I’ve had chiropractic treatments in the past and discovered that not only did my back pain subside, my headaches were greatly diminished…and believe it or not…my eyesight improved. There will always be skeptics, but I believe that chiropractic treatments can and do make a difference in the lives of many. Thanks for sharing!
